Purpose of the Website

 HappyVisit.info aims to provide local website visitors with compelling information about excellent dining, drinking, accommodation, and entertainment experiences in the area.

General Information for Advertisers:

The advertiser can use the HappyVisit web site portal to add, modify or remove their adverts.

There is no limit on the amount of adverts an advertiser can place. An advertiser can have multiple adverts in different menu’s.

Adverts will stay on the web site until the advertiser or the administrator deletes the advert.

The web site administrator’s role is to approve the advert prior to publishing to make sure that the information provided by the advertiser is suitable for publication.

The web site offers google maps as part of the advert. It is up to the advertiser to ensure that the address of the venue can be recognized by Google Maps.

If the advertiser is not able to complete the creation of the advert, the advertiser can provide the administrator with the information of the venue and the administrator will complete the task.

General information about Adverts

Happy Visit provides an exiting opportunity for advertisers to place their advert on the web site at no cost to the advertiser. This is a free service provided by HappyVisit.info

Free new adverts will be placed at the bottom  end of the listing.

If the advertiser would like to have the advert in a more prominent position, for instance in the top 5 , then the advertiser is invited to pay for the advertising.

The amount of payment dictates the position in the listing with the advert with the highest payment placed in the top position.

The advertiser is informed via the web site on the value of the existing adverts and can position its advert accordingly.

  Payment can be made through the website’s secure STRIPE payment gateway.

The paid for advertising period is for six months and during this time the advert will be visible in the allocated position. The advertising period is displayed on the detailed advert with a beginning and end time of the advert.

At the end of the paid for advertising period, the advert’s value will automatically reset to zero, and the advert will be positioned accordingly in the listing.

Advertisers can top up their payments at any time to maintain or improve their advert’s position.

Top up can be done by log in and advert management.

How to Create or Modify an Advert:

1. Log in and register an account:

  • Advertisers must log in and register. After registration, the tab Advert Management will be available on the home page. The advertiser can now log in and start creating a new advert or modify or deleting an existing advert.

2. Selecting Advert Category:

  •  After log-in, the advertiser selects a menu (eat, drink, sleep, or play) where they want to  add a new advert or where their advert is located in case the advert needs to be modified.

3. Creating a New Advert:

  •  For a New Advert, the advertiser needs to establish a unique Identifier (ID) for the new advert which needs to be used when, at a later stage, the advertiser wants to modify the advert.
  • The advertiser then completes the text boxes. for instance “Title of the advert” and a description of what is on offer.
  • The advertiser needs to upload a picture (in JPG or JPEG format, not exceeding 0.5 MB).
  • The advertiser needs to specify the value of the advert. The advertiser can see what the other advertisers in the top 5 positions are paying for their advert. The advertiser can then decide what money value he/she is willing to pay. If the value is zero then the advert will be placed at the bottom of all the other adverts, if the value of the advert is greater than zero, then the advert will be placed according to its value.
  • If the value is greater than zero, a new page will pop up to direct the advertiser to the secure payment gateway. After successful payment the new advert is then sent to the website administrator for approval.
  • After approval the advert will be visible on the HappyVisit web site

4. Modifying an Existing Advert:

  • Advertisers log in with their password and then click the Advert Management tab
  • The advertiser then select Modify or Delete and is asked to present the ID of the advert that needs to be modified or deleted.
  • The advertiser can change the text, the image and  can top up the payment for the advert.
  • The modified advert is then sent to the administrator for approval and placed according to its monetary value upon approval.
